In its annual reader survey the magazine “Intelligent Insurer” asked “Who are the best lawyers in the industry?” and collated the vote from more than 400 in-house counsel and senior executives in the leading insurers, reinsurers and brokerages. Prager Dreifuss has been voted the market leading law firm in Switzerland. The findings of the annual survey are being published in the June issue of the “Intelligent Insurer” magazine. Prager Dreifuss is honoured to be nominated as the market leading Swiss insurance law firm and considers this nomination an affirmation of the trust it enjoys within the legal community and the insurance industry.

Proving that Prager Dreifuss does not only have a sporty internet appearance, the two relay marathon teams of the firm successfully completed the inaugural Zürich Relay Marathon on Sunday, April 11, 2010.
Team PD 1 won this year’s company internal competition. With a time of 3 hours 54 minutes and 40 seconds the team of Regula Tanner, Daniel Pabst, Urs Brunner and Robin Indermaur beat Team PD 2 (consisting of Brigitte Flückiger, Martin Laube, Adela Dedic and Marcel Frey), which crossed the finish line with a finishing time of 4 hours 16 minutes and 14 seconds.
After the race is before the race – the next marathon will come for sure!
Dr. Marino Baldi joins Prager Dreifuss as counsel

Marino Baldi advises clients in national and international economic law, in particular with regard to competition law, international trade law, international investment law, as well as Swiss and European single market regulations.
For many years, Marino Baldi acted as a Swiss Ambassador for foreign economic relations and negotiated, on behalf of Switzerland, numerous trade and investment agreements. A renowned competition lawyer, he also played a leading role in drafting modern competition legislation (Cartel Act, Internal Market Act). He lectures on European and International Economic Law at the University of Zurich.

Christian Lang works primarily for Swiss and foreign clients from the insurance industry in non-contentious and contentious matters, including litigation and arbitration. He also advises clients in insurance regulatory matters in connection with corporate trans¬actions or their conduct of business in Switzerland.
Christian Lang studied law at the University of Zurich and holds a LL.M. degree from the New York University. Before returning to Switzerland, he practiced in a law firm in New York for one year. He is admitted to the bar in Switzerland and New York.
