Chambers Europe 2026: In-depth Overview Litigation: Switzerland Facilitates Taking of Evidence in Cross-border Civil Proceedings
Urs Feller and Martin Heisch contributed the Switzerland chapter to the "Chambers In-depth Overview: Litigation". The authors analyse Switzerland’s new legal framework facilitating the taking of evidence in cross-border civil proceedings. Particular emphasis is placed on the simplified rules for remote witness examinations and voluntary document production, as well as the continued relevance of Article 271 SCC in practice.
