Marino Baldi

Dr Marino Baldi advises on Swiss and international business law, particularly antitrust and competition law, the law of international trade relations, international investments and on European single market law. As the Swiss ambassador and a member of SECO’s Board of Directors, he led many international trade negotiations and played a critically important part in the current competition and single market law. He was a member of the Swiss Competition Commission and teaches European and international business law at the University of Zurich.

Prof. Dr. Urs Bertschinger has broad experience in financial market regulation and financial products. Dr Urs Feller is head of the Dispute Resolution Team. He acts in complex proceedings before Swiss courts, arbitration tribunals and administrative authorities, including criminal proceedings. He advises clients on contractual and commercial matters, particularly in the area of banking, insurance, sanctions and compliance, and in administrative and judicial assistance. Urs Feller specializes in insolvency proceedings, restructuring and asset recovery as well as inheritance proceedings. Marcel Frey regularly advises clients in international judicial assistance proceedings and the recovery of illegally acquired assets. In addition, he specializes in the enforcement of Swiss and international decisions in Switzerland.

Prof. Philipp Zurkinden heads the Competition Team. He advises Swiss and international clients in antitrust proceedings (agreements affecting competition, abuse and mergers) and on state aid law. He has in-depth knowledge of EU competition law and therefore often works on multi-jurisdictional proceedings with established international law firms. He is also engaged in compliance consultancy. Before joining Prager Dreifuss, he worked at SECO on drafting the Cartel Act still currently in force and directed the training of the Competition Commission Secretariat in the new legislation. Philipp Zurkinden teaches competition law at the University of Basel.
