Country Comparative Guide 2026: Switzerland Insurance & Reinsurance

Reto M. Jenny and Maria Spiess examine country-specific issues in the field of insurance and reinsurance and provide an overview of the laws and regulations in force in Switzerland. Among other things, they address regulatory issues – such as whether different types of insurers and reinsurers are regulated differently – and highlight recent developments in the regulation of insurance intermediaries as well as current tendencies in the market.
