Dr Mike Abegg is a member of the Dispute Resolution Team and the Insurance and Reinsurance Team. He advises and represents Swiss and foreign clients in court and enforcement proceedings and deals with national and international insurance cases.
Dr Marino Baldi advises on Swiss and international business law, particularly antitrust and competition law, the law of international trade relations, international investments and on European single market law. As the Swiss ambassador and a member of SECO’s Board of Directors, he led many international trade negotiations and played a critically important part in the current competition and single market law. He was a member of the Swiss Competition Commission and teaches European and international business law at the University of Zurich.
Prof. Dr. Urs Bertschinger has broad experience in financial market regulation and financial products. He advises clients on all types of corporate transactions as well as on general corporate and commercial matters. Urs Bertschinger is an issuers’ advisor registered by Swiss SIX Exchange Regulation. He is also engaged as an arbitrator in commercial arbitration. He was seconded to the London firm of Slaughter and May in 2003.
Samuel Bleuer works as a trainee in the Zurich office of Prager Dreifuss with a focus on Dispute Resolution und Private Clients. He is mainly engaged in contract, procedural and corporate law. After completing his substitute period, he will sit for the bar exam.
Dr Hans-Ulrich Brunner is the head of the Real Estate & Construction Team and advises both individual and corporate clients. He focuses particularly on private real estate and construction law (service contracts, law of mandate and real estate transactions), and has advised and represented owners, planners and designers and contractors for many years. Hans-Ulrich Brunner also has broad experience in litigation as a defence counsel in construction-related and general public liability and insurance cases.
Dr Urs Brunner advises Swiss and foreign companies and private individuals on commercial law matters, particularly in the areas of employment law, organization and succession planning. He is the chairman or board member of many foundations, primarily non-profits.
Lydia Patrizia Buchser
Dr. Lydia Patrizia Buchser is a member of the Insurance & Reinsurance and Dispute Resolution teams. She advises and represents domestic and foreign clients in national and international matters before state courts and arbitration tribunals. She focuses particularly on contract law as well as liability and insurance law.
Ralph Butz specializes in commercial and corporate law matters relating to Swiss and international companies. In particular, this includes employment and contract law as well as distribution, licensing and IP issues. Ralph Butz also has extensive experience in the area of Swiss and international inheritance law and in advising Swiss and international clients in estate planning, succession planning for businesses including its implementation.
Gion Christian Casanova
Dr Christian Casanova works mainly in the areas of dispute resolution and insurance & reinsurance. His work includes pre-trial advice and representation of Swiss and international clients in court and before arbitration tribunals as well as the protection and recovery of assets in insolvency and attachment proceedings. In addition to civil and commercial disputes, he focuses on insurance and reinsurance cases, asset recovery and real estate.
Guy Deillon focuses on domestic and international mergers and acquisitions as well as private equity transactions. Further, he assists companies in financings as well as on general corporate, stock exchange and capital markets law matters.

Gaudenz F. Domenig
Gaudenz Domenig represents Swiss and foreign clients before Swiss courts and Swiss and international arbitration tribunals. He has proven experience of litigation in all areas of commercial law, including directors’, officers’ and auditors’ liability claims, international legal assistance and bankruptcy proceedings. Gaudenz Domenig also appears before state courts and Federal courts in New York. He has extensive experience in corporate mergers. He acts as a consultant and member of the board of directors for companies in a wide range of sectors.
Dr Urs Feller is head of the Dispute Resolution Team. He acts in complex proceedings before Swiss courts, arbitration tribunals and administrative authorities, including criminal proceedings. He advises clients on contractual and commercial matters, particularly in the area of banking, insurance, sanctions and compliance, and in administrative and judicial assistance. Urs Feller specializes in insolvency proceedings, restructuring and asset recovery as well as inheritance proceedings. He also advises clients in family and inheritance law matters, such as estate and succession planning, including the execution of wills. He conducts corresponding proceedings for private individuals, trustees and family offices.
Marcel Frey is a member of the Dispute Resolution and Private Clients Teams. He represents Swiss and foreign clients in court and arbitration proceedings. He also advises private individuals with enforcing civil claims in complex cases of white collar crime. Marcel Frey regularly advises clients in international judicial assistance proceedings and the recovery of illegally acquired assets. In addition, he specializes in the enforcement of Swiss and international decisions in Switzerland.

Christoph K. Graber
Dr Christoph Graber is head of the Insurance & Reinsurance Team. He is a past chair of the Insurance Committee of the International Bar Association and advises Swiss and foreign insurance and reinsurance companies on contentious and non-contentious matters, including representing them in court and in arbitration proceedings. He has vast experience in the areas of banking and financial services (professional indemnity and fidelity bonds), directors’ and officers’ liability, product liability and commercial general liability. Christoph Graber is also a member of the Dispute Resolution Team and represents clients in commercial and arbitration proceedings, particularly in the area of contractual and corporate law.

Daniel Hayek is chairman of the board and head of several specialist teams. He focuses on acquisitions of Swiss companies by large strategic buyers as well as on debt restructuring and bankruptcy law. He also specializes in mergers, corporate finance, acquisitions, banking and finance as well as corporate law issues. Daniel Hayek advises clients on all types of domestic and cross-border transactions, including financing and real estate transactions. He also assists banks in acquisition financing.
Dr Martin Heisch is a member of the Dispute Resolution Team. He advises and represents domestic and foreign clients in civil and commercial litigation before Swiss courts, arbitral tribunals and authorities. He further focuses on national and cross-border insolvency and enforcement matters, including asset recovery. Martin Heisch also advises clients on contractual and commercial matters, particularly in the area of sanctions and compliance.
Dr Gion Jegher is a member of the Dispute Resolution, Insolvency & Restructuring and Banking & Finance Teams. He is a real expert in matters of private international law. This area addresses all legal issues arising in cross-border cases, such as insolvency of multi-national companies or transnational litigation.
Reto M. Jenny
Dr Reto Jenny is a member of the Insurance & Reinsurance and Dispute Resolution Teams. He advises Swiss and foreign clients, including insurance and reinsurance companies, on contentious and non-contentious matters and represents them in court and before administrative authorities in Switzerland and before arbitration tribunals. He also specializes in insurance regulatory law. Reto Jenny also has extensive experience in insurance for banks (professional liability and crime policies) and in directors’ and officers’ liability, product liability and business liability insurance.
Michaela Kappeler represents Swiss and foreign clients, focusing on dispute resolution and private clients. She is mainly engaged in litigation in Swiss and international matters brought before public courts, involving tenancy law and other areas. She also handles white collar crimes & investigations.
Raphael Keller advises and represents Swiss and foreign clients in litigation and enforcement matters. He focuses particularly on private real estate and construction matters as well as construction-related and general public liability and insurance cases. He also regularly advises clients on issues relating to financial market and corporate law.
Bernhard C. Lauterburg
Bernhard Lauterburg is an experienced antitrust lawyer. His practice includes antitrust investigations and advice on contract drafting and antitrust compliance. In addition, he is active in arbitration and public procurement law. He also has in-depth knowledge in the World Trade Organisation, investment protection and state aid.

Dr. Raphael Märki is a member of the Dispute Resolution and Insurance & Reinsurance teams. Mark Meili advises companies in company and contract law matters, focusing mainly on corporate finance and bankruptcy proceedings. From 2017 to 2018, Mark Meili was seconded to an alternative investment fund in London which specialized in distressed debt.

Alain Michael is a member of the Dispute Resolution Team and the Insurance and Reinsurance Team. He advises and represents Swiss and foreign clients in court and enforcement proceedings and deals with national and international insurance cases.
Dr Andreas Moll is a partner and member of the Corporate & M&A Team, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and corporate matters. He advises business clients on all types of Swiss and cross-border transactions and regularly acts as a board member of multinational companies’ Swiss subsidiaries. Andreas Moll also works in the fields of energy and infrastructure and offers consultancy and dispute resolution services.
Verena Morscher advises Swiss and foreign companies in all corporate and commercial matters, in particular issues of corporate law and corporate governance. She supports and represents private individuals and legal entities in various areas of contract law. In addition to her legal work, Verena Morscher is Hiring Partner and Head of Human Resources and Marketing of Prager Dreifuss.
Rahel A. Nedi
Dr Rahel Nedi deals with Labour Law, Data Protection and Dispute Resolution. She is also a member of the Start-up Desk. She advises a national and international clientele, private individuals and companies. In addition, she is a lecturer at the University of Zurich and edits articles for the journal Arbeitsrecht (ARV/DTA).
Corinne Nobs is a member of the Private Clients Team. She advises high net worth individuals and families on estate and asset planning and supports trusts, foundations and other organisations in regulatory compliance (AML, FATCA, CRS, etc.). Corinne Nobs also helps Swiss and international companies with all aspects of employment law.
Dr Tis Prager has specialized for more than 40 years in advising entrepreneurs, in particular in the succession planning of their business and personal assets and its practical implementation. His clients in this area benefit from his experience in corporate and tax law and in the administration of large assets. Tis Prager is Chairman of Hotel Zürich AG (Marriott), Scherer & Bühler AG and, pro bono, of the KEDA Foundation, which founded the CULINARIUM ALPINUM. These and other directorships with Hilti AG (Schaan), Bourquin SA, IE Engineering etc. underlie his expertise in strategy and governance.
Laura Richenberger advises national and international companies and hedge funds in the areas of contract and company law, as well as debt collection and bankruptcy law. Her main focus areas are representing creditors in restructuring and insolvency proceedings, asset tracing, protection measures and enforcement proceedings.
Dr Christian Schönfeld focuses on corporate and commercial law as well as the law of banking and capital markets and associated regulatory issues. Within these areas he has particular experience in collective investment law and Fintech (ICOs, tokenization etc.). He also advises on data protection matters and is a member of the Startup Desk. Before joining Prager Dreifuss as a lawyer, he worked as a research assistant for Prof. Dr. Urs Bertschinger at the University of St. Gallen.
Dr Andrea Schütz's practice focuses on pharmaceutical and healthcare law. She mainly advises and represents pharmaceutical and medtech companies, medical professionals and private and public institutions in the healthcare sector. In particular, she deals with licences under pharmaceutical and health law, administrative and criminal proceedings under medicinal products law, reimbursement by health insurance funds as well as the advertising and distribution of medical devices and medicinal products. Due to her former position as head of investigations in the criminal law service of Swissmedic as well as her many years of professional experience in the health law sector, she is very familiar with the regulatory requirements in the therapeutic products sector and has valuable contacts with the therapeutic products law enforcement authorities and the pharmaceutical and medical devices industry. Andrea Schütz also specialises in constitutional and administrative law and administrative criminal law.
Dr Andrea Stäubli is a member of the Dispute Resolution and Insurance & Reinsurance Teams. She advises and represents Swiss and foreign clients in litigation and enforcement proceedings and works on Swiss and international insurance cases. Andrea Stäubli wrote her award-winning doctoral thesis on insurance law and also authors publications on this topic.
Anik S. Zehnder
Anik S. Zehnder has been a lawyer at Prager Dreifuss since 2022. She advises national and international companies on contractual, corporate, debt enforcement and bankruptcy matters. Before that, Anik S. Zehnder gained experience in a pharmaceutical company as part of the Law and Compliance team, at the Zurich District Court and in a renowned, internationally oriented commercial law firm in Zurich Seefeld.
Philipp E. Zurkinden
Prof. Philipp Zurkinden heads the Competition Team. He advises Swiss and international clients in antitrust proceedings (agreements affecting competition, abuse and mergers) and on state aid law. He has in-depth knowledge of EU competition law and therefore often works on multi-jurisdictional proceedings with established international law firms. He is also engaged in compliance consultancy. Before joining Prager Dreifuss, he worked at SECO on drafting the Cartel Act still currently in force and directed the training of the Competition Commission Secretariat in the new legislation. Philipp Zurkinden teaches competition law at the University of Basel.
